Where is Robbie’s of Islamorada?
Robbie’s is at 77522 Overseas Hwy, Islamorada, FL 33036, at Mile Marker 77.5 on the bay side of the Overseas Highway. Directions.
What are Robbie’s hours?
Robbie’s is open Mon–Sun, 7:00am–9:00pm. The Hungry Tarpon Restaurant serves from 6:30am–9:00pm.
Is this the same as Robbie’s of Key West?
No. This is Robbie’s in Islamorada. Robbie’s of Key West is our separate sister marina on Stock Island. There is no Robbie’s in Marathon or Key Largo.
Is Robbie’s good for kids?
Yes. Families come for the tarpon feeding, the open-air market, snorkel trips and the party boat. See all activities.
How long has Robbie’s been feeding the tarpon?

Tarpon Feeding
How much does it cost to feed the tarpon?
Dock admission is $2.50 per person and a bucket of fish is $5.00. Toss the fish and the tarpon do the rest. More about tarpon feeding.
Where can I feed tarpon in Islamorada?
You can feed the tarpon at the dock at Robbie’s, voted the #1 place to visit in the Florida Keys. More than 100 tarpon show up to feed most days, so expect a wall of silver and some big splashes. Feed the tarpon.
Are the tarpon caged?
No. The tarpon are wild fish that come and go as they please. The school of more than 100 tarpon comes to the dock daily and lingers for hours, and the “Silver Kings” seem happy to see the humans. Meet the tarpon.
Can I feed the tarpon in late December?
Yes. The tarpon dock is open daily, 7am–9pm, and more than 100 tarpon show up to feed most days, whatever the month. Plan your feed.

Can I come by boat and eat lunch with my family?
Yes. Robbie’s rents transient boat slips, so you can tie up, walk out to the tarpon dock and sit down to lunch with a view of the water. Hungry Tarpon Restaurant.
When is the tarpon dock open?
The dock is open every day of the year. Robbie’s is open Mon–Sun, 7:00am–9:00pm, so there is time to feed the fish before or after a meal. Tarpon feeding.
Where can I eat at Robbie’s?
The Hungry Tarpon Restaurant is the marina’s waterfront dining spot. It opens at 6:30am for the early birds and closes around 9pm, with a large seafood menu the whole family will like. See the restaurant.

Water Activities
What water activities can I book at Robbie’s?
You can book snorkeling, SNUBA, kayaks, jet skis, boat rentals, and sandbar and sunset tours at Robbie’s. Snorkeling tours.
Do I need a reservation for kayak rentals?
No. Rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore at your own pace, no reservation needed. Kayak and paddleboard rentals.
Can I paddle to Indian Key?
Yes. Indian Key State Park is a 20-minute paddle that first-time and experienced paddlers alike find easy and enjoyable. Beach your kayak, take the self-guided walking tour past the remnants of the old wrecking colony, and go snorkeling. Kayak tours.
Can I kayak in the mangroves?
Yes. Paddle the mangrove tunnels and flats five minutes from the shop, or take the guided 2-hour backcountry tour through the tunnels. Manatees, bald eagles, egrets, nurse sharks and stingrays live there. Backcountry tour.
Where can I go snorkeling near Robbie’s?

Fishing at Robbie’s
Can you fish at Robbie’s?
Yes. Cast a line at the marina, or book a charter or the Captain Michael partyboat straight off the dock. At the tarpon dock you can toss the fish a bait fish and watch them have a snack. Partyboat fishing.
Does the party boat provide fishing rods?
Yes. The rate includes all bait, tackle and rods, plus the fishing license, rotation of the stern, bathrooms and a shaded cabin, and the crew helps bait your hook. Captain Michael partyboat.
Is tarpon easy to catch?
No. Tarpon give you one of the hardest fights in saltwater and leap out of the water trying to shake the hook. The tarpon here average 80 to 150 pounds, so have your camera ready. Fishing calendar.
When is the best time to fish for tarpon?

Alligator Reef Lighthouse
How do you get to Alligator Reef Lighthouse?
By boat. Alligator Reef begins about 3.5 miles out from Robbie’s, so you get there on a boat rental, a snorkel trip or a charter, and the lighthouse is a regular sight on Islamorada sunset cruises. Snorkel the reef.
Can I snorkel at Alligator Reef?

Can I fish near the lighthouse?
You can fish the reefs off Robbie’s, mostly in 12 to 35 feet, with Alligator Reef beginning about 3.5 miles out. Fishing calendar.

Is Robbie’s pet friendly?
Yes. Robbie’s is a pet-friendly destination: dogs are welcome to walk our streets, splash on our sandy beach, shop with you and join you for dockside dining. Pet-friendly things to do.
Are pets allowed on the Robbie’s dock?
Pets are not allowed on the Tarpon Feeding Dock for their own safety and the safety of our wildlife. Pet policy.
